Channelling deeply personal experiences of family heritage, resilience, escapism and desire as modern folk tales, this album demonstrates the band's ability to craft soundscapes with the scale of post-rock and the intensity of shoegaze, whilst maintaining the intimacy needed for such a delicate narrative.
